KALANTIAO TOASTMASTERS CLUB
Kalantiao Toastmasters Club is so named Kalantiao in honor of Datu Bendahara Kalantiaw, a man who promulgated a set of codified laws which was used to govern ancient Filipinos in Panay. Kalantiaw was the the third chief of Aklan who history reveals was just and wise. Dr. Gregorio Zaoide's researches pointed that the real name of Kalantiaw as Lakan Tiaw. In native term, Lakan means "chief of rules" while Tiaw means "chief of brief speech." - Madyaas Pen
At Kalantiao Toastmasters Club, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. We are a typical Toastmasters club made up of 22 {recruitment going on} quality and supportive people who meet twice a week for about an hour or two. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice:

conduct short and concise business meetings with prepared speeches based on the toastmasters project manual in communication and leadership, impromptu speeches, jokemastery, and help members learn the basic procedure of an ideal business meeting.

giving constructive criticisms in a fun and supportive environment.
